How to Find Your IP Address in Windows and Mac Systems

Windows:

1. Click on the Start menu and type “cmd” in the search bar. Press Enter to open the Command Prompt.

2. In the Command Prompt window, type “ipconfig” and press Enter.

3. Look for the “IPv4 Address” or “IPv6 Address” under the network adapter you are currently using. This is your IP address.

4. Alternatively, you can also visit www.whatismyip.com using your preferred web browser. The website will display your IP address.

Mac:

1. Click on the Apple menu and select “System Preferences.”

2. In the System Preferences window, click on the “Network” icon.

3. Select the network connection you are currently using from the list on the left.

4. Your IP address will be displayed on the right side of the window, next to “IP Address.”

5. Additionally, you can also visit www.whatismyip.com using your preferred web browser to find your IP address.
